
Shrine to Soft Decadence
This project presents a surreal digital environment rendered using Enscape. I designed a softly saturated dreamscape that merges the elegance of ancient ruins with the glamour of high fashion. The world is envisioned as a sleepy, ethereal garden bathed in warm pink tones, where classical architecture and luxurious designer objects coexist in an atmosphere of reverent tranquility.
At the heart of this world lies a formal garden layout, reminiscent of historical European grounds but reimagined in a highly curated, pastel-toned palette. Carefully placed cherry blossoms, flowering hedges, and manicured topiary frame a central fountain, which is surrounded not by historical sculpture, but by designer handbags. Throughout the garden, high heels, sunglasses, and couture accessories are elevated on pedestals, transforming consumer objects into cultural relics. These elements are not simply decorative, they are displayed as if in a shrine, inviting contemplation and admiration. This deliberate placement blurs the line between worship and consumption, history and vanity.
To bring this vision to life, I altered the texture mapping of 3D objects, designing custom maps that fit within the dreamy, monochromatic aesthetic. Classical busts and architectural fragments were overlaid with pink marble textures, manipulated in Photoshop to soften their age and give them a surreal, candy-like quality. Ancient altars and crumbling walls were recolored in deep fuchsias and rose tones, merging digital decay with hyper-feminine visual codes. These materials maintain a sense of stone and permanence, yet they are filtered through a distinctly modern, almost fantastical lens.
The post-processing phase involved enhancing atmospheric glow and blending visual tones to give the scene its hazy, dreamlike quality. Using After Effects, subtle motion and transitions further pushed the world into a liminal state—somewhere between memory and fantasy, a place just on the edge of waking.
